 Mystery and Action

Stormbreaker:

This book is about a boy called Alex Rider. He is 14 years old and lives with his uncle, Ian Rider. Alex's parents died in a plane crash just a few days after he was born. Ian Rider is the kind of uncle which almost every person wants to have. He is an agent at MI6, but unfortunately Alex does not know this. Ian dies in a car accident  when his last mission is almost completed. MI6 knows that Alex is Ian's nephew, so they want to know if he is like his uncle. They are very impressed with Alex's skills and personality, so they hire him as an agent. Alex can speak German, Japanese and French, which is good if he needs to go on different missions in different countries. Alex is sent on a mission to a company where they make the new Stormbreakers. The person who invented the Stormbreaker is called Herod Sayle. He is between 30 - 40 years old. Sayle's house is in the countryside outside of London. The house has guest rooms, pictures and a huge dining room with a big tank of water on the side. In the tank is a big Jellyfish called the Physalia Physalis. It is a very poisonous sea creature. Herod Sayle has two assistants, Mr. Grin and Nadia Vole. Mr. Grin is a very short man whose tongue is cut off. Nadia Vole is a German lady which always tries to figure out things about Alex. Herod Sayle is putting a virus into the Stormbreakers, so he can kill millions of people. He is doing this for REVENGE! During the mission, Alex does not know if he can stop the virus from activating...

I really liked this book because there was a lot of mystery and action in it. I have never read such a good book before with so much process.

I recommend this book to people who like thriller and action. The age group for this book would be ages 12 and up. I hope the people who will read this book will have the same experience i had.

The setting of the book takes place in Bethany's aunt's house in Sander Field, Illinois. Bethany is a 12 year old girl who has wears glasses, has blond hair and hazel eyes. One day, Bethany is taken away from her home and she travels with her parents to Sander Field which supposedly belongs to her long lost aunt Myrlie. Aunt Myrlie does not have modern technology in her house such as cell phones or a good computer. Bethany convinced he aunt to tell her about the big secret between her and Bethany's parents. Bethany's aunt Myrlie is a 50 year old widower who lost her husband in a car wreck along with her niece. I think the most exciting part is the mystery and suspense because when something happens you want to keep reading on to find out what is going to happen next!

Overall, the story was very creative and the description of the characters were very detailed but there were some downsides. First of all, some parts didn't make sense to me when I read them and there were some vocabulary words that were hard to understand. But the mystery and suspense made me keep on reading to find out the resolution to the situation. The author's effort and creativity really showed in the plot and the stories of the characters.

I recommend this book to people who like to read mystery and science fiction stories because the book is based on a family secret that Bethany has to figure out. I think if people want to read this book they might need a wide vocabulary because of the difficult words in the book. If people are considering reading this book than I am definitely saying read it!, but you should consider other people's opinions on what they think of the book to make a final decision. So READ it! There is a great lesson to be learned! Hope you enjoy the book like I did!!

Fiction/Non Fiction

My story is called STORMBREAKER. It’s about the life of a 14 year old who finds out that his uncle had died from a shooting. 14 year old Alex Rider soon finds out that his uncle Ian Rider was working for the M16. Alex was forced into working for the MI6 by the head of the MI6 Adam Blunt. Alex is forced to go on a dangerous mission to investigate the new computers Salve Inc is creating. Adam Blunt has his suspicions about the new computer.

My opinion on the book is: I think that the author had really thought about what he wanted to write. If I had to rate this book it would be 9/10 because I have never read such a good book in a while.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes action books because this story offers a lot of nice and well explained action scenes. This book is one of the greatest I have read and I want others to enjoy the experience.

Stormbreaker
Alex is a fourteen year old boy whose uncle died in a car accident, at least that’s what they say. Alex has brown hair with brown eyes. Alex’s “housekeeper” is called Jacky she takes care of him and when he needs her she is there. Alex’s only relative is his uncle Ian rider Alex trusted him with his life. After Alex's uncle dies Alex finds out that his uncle use to work in the MI6.Alex takes over his uncle’s Job. In the MI6 he trains his skills. Alex is told to go on a mission to stop a person called Sayle from making a computer called Stormbreaker from blowing up London. Although Alex did refuses to go but eventually he is convinced and accepts the offer and goes. During his mission he went through a lot of trouble and a lot of villains that attempted to kill him in the most painful ways possible.  When Alex arrives at Sayle’s house under the name Lester he had nowhere to rest his eyes there were painting everywhere. There was a huge tank with a huge sea creature inside it was called the Phsiliya. Most of the story took part in Sayles house. Their Sayle had two employees’ that worked with him and who tried to kill Alex. The first one is called Mr.Grin he cannot talk properly because he had his tongue cut. Of and Nadia Vole was German who always wears yellow lipstick. Sayle himself was very short and was bald he had grey eyes and his teeth shone when he smiled. Alex is just a boy so at times he feels that everything is not fair and he feels that he never asked to be there so why did this happen and why him.

I really liked this book because there was non-stop thriller and action. This book really got me involved in it because the writer wrote the book in a way that I could feel I was doing exactly what Alex was doing. The book was very interesting to read because after every other page there was action .My favourite part of the book was when Nadia Vole tried to kill Alex and how he struggles to break free.

I recommend this book for those people who enjoy reading the books with action and thriller. I just will not recommend it for people who like life style (Non-Fiction stories).I think the appropriate age group for this book would be ages 11 and up who like these categories.
